hey will u be able to send me some in fo on a albino moose info for a speech.

Those pic's were definitely taken in Ontario .... January 3 , 2005 by Larry Grubble of Timmins ... They've gone all over the net, but he was smart about it and kept a handful of pics that were never released .... and so when the time is right, he'll press release them.

I recieved from Larry a CD with 23 digital pic's of the experience .... he's also got a handful of pic's on his regular camera ...

I enjoy your sights of the albino moose they are very interesting to look at and also read about!

I know because i'm from Houlton,Maine!
i have a question for you how do you get such good pictures of the moose do you just have someone to do it for you are you just get them or i mean you buy them or u take them yourself?

I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures.

As you can see from the comment before yours, there is some doubt as to where these pictures were taken. I am inclined to believe the poster (Joel Theriault) as I received these by e-mail from a friend who received them from someone else. My friend was not sure of their origin. In any case, I think it is best that the whereabouts of these moose is concealed - for their protection.

I can take credit for optimising the pictures to improve their appearance.

Me and my wife got some awsome footage of an all white cow with her all white calf while fishing in ont. canada july 4th 2006 july 3rd we got video of a cow that was brown with white legs my wife took still photos as well pretty cool experiance.

its not an albino moose. Albino means that it lacks all pigment which would give it no colour in the fur and bright red eyes. If you actually look at these pictures these moose are dark spotted and brown eyed. The white moose is simply a very rare genetic phenomenon caused by two moose with recessive genes mating.

Greg notice I said all white not albino thank you Robert Stahl

ido appericate what they want to save white moose and understand . ilike to focus kind of moose from maine and alaska are different shape largest and large . but ireally not appericate all peoples were killing young moose on northeastern bec its still youngmoose and allow its come down state what its looknew thier life instead not killor yu really mean to kill by driving before yu saw its acroos instead yu wont stopping as keep ropller and killits . god know yu did punishment on count yu point before yu illbury

I don't think these photos are the same as the ones I have, But the White Cow, with her 2 young roam an area just North of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She has been tagged and is tracked and if anyone shot her, they would likely be shot by the RCMP or OPP before they got very far. Key is to keep American hunters aware of the rareity. If anyone would like some really awesome photos, feel free to ask... The ones I have are from December 2008, taken by OPP on snowmobiles on a routine enviroment check. In notice one person here from Houlton, Maine. I lived in Canterbury, N.B. for many years and have seen too many moose to count, but out east only seen some with white patches. This White Cow shall live a long and happy life. Peace.

I recently received the pictures of the white cow with her two young that are suppose to have been taken in the Kirkland Lake, Ontario area. In one of the pictures, sitting on a branch, in front of the white cow, is a bird. The bird is a Magpie. Magpies are not found in Northeastern Ontario. So, these pictures could not have been taken in this area. I'm sure there is probably a white moose in the region...may it/they live a long long life.

i think this is amazing. i love white moose. i've never seen one before, as there are none where i live. but they're so beautiful!
