Update from Rosemary

"I won't know the new boundaries of the fire until tomorrow morning, as tonight they will be doing an infra-red satellite image - t's pretty tough trying to figure out where it is through all that smoke.

Dave tells me there are now 300 ground crew, 14 helicopters, 2 heavy duty water bombers, and 170 smoke jumpers, plus assorted large machinery. The fire today went around Crazy Bear, but they were able to save Frank Naumann's resort there. It's now advancing toward's Stewart's Lake, where Stewart's Lodge have cabins. Chris' place is still not in any danger whatsoever. I will get more info about the north side of Charlotte tomorrow, but it doesn't sound as if it has gone much further that way. "
